Division of Biomedical Informatics people

Welcome

DBMI was founded in the summer of 2009; our rapidly growing unit is the first in the UC system to be structured like more traditional divisions in Schools of Medicine -- having the tri-partite mission of research, training, and service/collaboration. DBMI designs, implements, and evaluates informatics algorithms and systems that serve these users, additionally providing services to biomedical researchers, other healthcare providers, and public health professionals.
