Neuroscience Outreach Program

Neurosciences graduate students founded the Neuroscience Outreach Program to share our knowledge of the brain and neuroscience research with San Diego students and community members.

Throughout the year, student volunteers share their enthusiasm for neuroscience by teaching introductory, hands-on activities in classrooms and at various outreach events, including  Biosciences Day at the Reuben H. Fleet Science Museum in Balboa Park and Better Education for Women in Science and Engineering (BEWISE) workshops at the Salk Institute for Biological Research
