Welcome to CCBB

The CCBB provides investigators with core bioinformatics expertise to analyze large molecular datasets, especially from next-generation sequencing. Our aim is to assist investigators to understand how to make good use of computational tools and analysis methods currently available for solving hypothesis-driven problems in molecular biology. We place special emphasis in the areas of genomics, systems biology and personalized medicine. We also provide expertise in statistical analysis and training where applicable.

New Requests

CTRI Vouchers

UC San Diego Altman Clinical and Translational Research Institute (ACTRI) is pleased to announce the addition of a new Vouchers category to support CCBB services. This new level of support for CCBB includes three funding tiers: $500 for pre-award planning and consultation; $5,000 for an early stage unfunded project; and $25,000 for expanding an existing project that is already federally funded. The new CCBB category is for data analysis only. Vouchers are not cash awards and can only be used for in-kind services. Services are contingent upon resource availability. More information and eligibility requirements are here.
