Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics Fellowship
UCSD Department of Pediatrics offers outstanding fellowship training in Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics. This 3-year fellowship includes one intensive clinical fellowship training year and 2 years focused on research or another area of academic scholarship.
The fellowship is supported by a collaboration between UCSD, Rady Children's Hospital San Diego, Balboa Naval Medical Center, and Kaiser Permanente San Diego. In addition, fellows will focus on related subspecialties during the first year of training including neurology, neurodevelopmental disabilities, genetics, dysmorphology, metabolic disorders, child advocacy, child and adolescent psychiatry and developmental services (occupational therapy, psychology, physical therapy, social work, speech and language pathology, audiology, and early childhood education). Fellows will choose a mentor form our Division's multidisciplinary, community-based research center and research collaborators or from scientists in Pediatrics at UCSD.
