Premature Infant Nutrition Clinic (PINC)

The establishment of the Premature Infant Nutrition Clinic (PINC) is an extension of the SPIN program. PINC offers a team approach to helping mothers and their premature infants after NICU discharge by providing services focused on improving infant's growth, nutrition, and transition to breastfeeding.  Mothers are provided with one-on-one instruction and guidance aimed at optimizing and promoting breastfeeding.


Clinic Staff

Eyla Boies, MD is the Medical Director of PINC and is a general pediatrician with expertise in the post-discharge care of premature infants and human milk nutrition. Terry Lawson, RN, IBCLC is an experienced NICU lactation consultant with PINC. Additional clinic staff include, lactation nurses, dieticians, staff nurses, and occpuational therapists allowing PINC to provide a full coverage of nutritional support for mothers and infants.
