Dr. Sanghvi received a BA in Politics & Society from the University of California Irvine in 1996, a Masters Degree in Epidemiology from Emory University in 1999 and his MD from the Medical College of Georgia in 2003. Following an internship in Internal Medicine at the University of Washington, he completed his residency in Radiation at the Oregon Health Sciences University (OHSU) in 2008.
Recruited to UC San Diego in 2011, Dr. Sanghvi serves as the Chief of the Leukemia/Lymphoma Tumor Service. He is also actively involved in the treatment of Head & Neck as well as CNS tumors. He directs the Xoft electronic brachytherapy program for skin cancer and runs the UCSD/Kaiser joint CNS radiosurgery clinic.
Dr. Sanghvi is based at both the La Jolla and South Bay Treatment Centers.
