Musculoskeletal Imaging

The musculoskeletal system comprises a broad variety of soft tissue and osseous structures. Its complexity lies in anatomic structure and has the added dimension of mechanistic considerations intrinsic to its locomotive function. Our multidisciplinary research groups focus on the non-invasive evaluation of musculoskeletal tissue structure and function in both health and disease/injury conditions. Precise early diagnosis and better understanding of disease process are crucial for disease prevention and effective treatment.
