Faculty Climate Survey

The Office of Faculty Affairs develops and conducts a climate survey that assesses faculty perceptions on various aspects of professional life including morale, environment, resources, and behavior to understand and identify Health Sciences faculty concerns. Surveys are performed every 3 - 5 years.

Three surveys have been conducted in 2005, 2011, and 2015 that evaluated the faculty climate in Health Sciences. As result of the prior surveys in 2005 and 2011, several changes were made in response to key concerns identified by the faculty including enhanced communication about governance and policies, safety measures, faculty professional development workshops, and leadership training.
